i think the problem is something to do with the tensioning. it tends to gather up underneath and often will not actually sew until you force the needle back and forth using the wheel.ive tried adjusting the tensioning using the manual but to no avail.the machine is about 15 years old or so.please email me as i dont answer calls from numbers i do not know or leave a voicemail.Emma
